To Bangladesh?

Tourism in Bangladesh, a contrast in itself. Bangladesh is reduced generally to textile factories, poverty, environmental disasters and corruption. A significant tourism does not exist. But the country is more, much more! The mighty rivers of Asia, impenetrable jungle, tea plantations, lonely coasts, mega cities, small settlements, vibrant markets, historical legacies, rich flora and fauna, ethnic minorities – which is also Bangladesh! So why not plunge into a world of intense life, full of passion, adventure and bizarre happiness, far from the standard tourist track?

Bangladesh, mon amour!

But primarily Bangladesh is its residents. May it be because that Bangladesh presents in all its originality, they are the greatest thing it has to offer the country. People here make your trip a memorable one. They remind you of the true meaning of ”important”, ”petty” and what it takes to be ”happy”. Do you really ”take something”, you want to know ”how the country is ticking” you have to get to know people, the kindest and happiest people in the world and we make sure. Let go and see contrasts, diversity, happiness and love, lots of love. We are at your side…

Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 update

The situation in Bangladesh is not as bad as one would think. Current figures and statistics could previously be found in the WHO's weekly assessments. Have travelers received the full dose of the WHO-approved medicinal product and can prove this with an official vaccination certificate, or are travelers without vaccination certificate in possession of an RT-PCR-based COVID-19 negative certificate (issued within 72 hours before departure) , then Congratulations! You have qualified for the reinstated VOA (Visa on Arrival, airport visa). Let's go travelling!

Eid Mubarak! That‘s what it says again. Lent is over and is celebrated with a three-day festival, of which May 3rd is certainly the most important. Accordingly, restrictions in public life are to be expected.

03 April 2022

Are you ready for Bangladesh? Then you should get going, we are already very well booked in November. Of course we are happy about that and it is fun to finally be on the road with you again and to show you our Bangladesh. We wish a good trip!

Praying and Fasting From the evening of April 2nd to May 2nd, Muslims in Bangladesh celebrate the fasting month of Ramadan. Life in public will be restricted accordingly and all non-Muslims are advised to be considerate!

13 March 2022

The special photo is due to yesterday‘s news. And since such an officer or his VOA department in the Immigration Office simply cannot dig the water out of a Rocket (at least visually), we pay our last respects to the Rocket fleet with this picture.
Our special photo for the retirement of the paddle wheel steamers from active service: “P.S. Masud, Ostrich, Tern & Lepcha - RIP!“
