  • Why us?

Why us of all tour operator?

Why is it a good choice to opt for a trip with us? Why exactly with The Lonesome Traveler? Ten good reasons:

  1. No nonsense, real feelings!
We do not do entertainment events. We want that you see and feel. We want that you meet people, no matter where, because these are Bangladesh.
  2. Your private tour – our destiny!
We take time for your advice and the conception of your journey. Close contact is the most important, because at the end of your journey you shall take some home.
  3. Our group travel – beyond the norm!
We make sure you get to know the most important things about the country: its people.
  4. No customers – guests!
We do not have customers, we have guests and we treat them accordingly. Are we on the road with you, is our “finishing time” in your hand. We do not say goodbye, at five o'clock in the evening (as usual).
  5. Adventures and experiences, instead in the usual way!
Where adventures and experiences waiting, we like to be drifting. “Somewhere in Nowhere” often wait the best moments. Flexibility is everything and we have.
  6. We are well connected!
Whether on private or group tour, our guides maintain consistently contact our Chief Operating Officer and this to the country’s authorities. No matter where we are, we are always well informed.
  7. True sustainability!
“Charity is the drowning of justice in the craphole of mercy.” (J. H. Pestalozzi). This quote can certainly discuss controversial. Practically remain 95% of your paid travel price right here in Bangladesh. Our partners, employees etc. all live here and are well paid. For that reason alone, our tours are not for bargain hunters.
  8. Motivated Guides!
Whether full-time or in addition to studying. Whether excellent English speaking Bangladeshi or German. For nobody this is a “job”. We love what we do.
  9. Eliminate prejudices, to initiate a change of image!
Is it fair to reduce our country on negative headlines? We’ll help you to make yourself a picture that you take home with you. Thereby you help us in our mission and ultimately the country and its inhabitants.
  10. First passion, then budgets!
We deal exclusively with travel in Bangladesh and are not a strategic appendage of diversified business ventures, like most tour operators in Bangladesh.
